🗓️ Detailed Itinerary

 

🗓️ Day 1: Arrival in Srinagar – Local Sightseeing
  • Arrive at Srinagar Airport, transfer to hotel or houseboat.
  • Enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake.
  • Visit Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Chashme Shahi.
  • Explore the local handicraft markets.
  • Overnight stay: Srinagar


🗓️ Day 2: Day Trip to Gulmarg
  • After early breakfast, drive to Gulmarg – the "Meadow of Flowers".
  • Enjoy the Gondola Ride (Phase 1 or 2 based on weather).
  • Explore St. Mary’s Church, Gulmarg Golf Course, or try snow activities (seasonal).
  • Return to Srinagar by evening.
  • Overnight stay: Srinagar


🗓️ Day 3: Day Trip to Sonamarg
  • Early morning drive to Sonamarg – known for glaciers and alpine scenery.
  • Optional pony ride or hike to Thajiwas Glacier.
  • Enjoy the views of Sindh River, and surrounding mountains.
  • Return to Srinagar in the evening.
  • Overnight stay: Srinagar.

  • After breakfast, drive to Doodhpathri – a hidden gem with pine forests and green meadows.
  • Ideal for picnics, nature walks, and photography.
  • Relax by the riverside and enjoy fresh air away from the crowd.
  • Return to Srinagar by late afternoon.
  • Evening free for shopping or a sunset walk along Boulevard Road.

🗓️ Day 5: Srinagar ➝ Pahalgam (90 km / ~2.5-3 hrs)
  • After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam, the "Valley of Shepherds".
  • En route, visit Saffron fields (seasonal) and Awantipora Ruins.
  • On arrival, check-in and explore:
    • Betaab Valley
    • Aru Valley
    • Chandanwari (optional pony ride)
  • Overnight stay: Pahalgam
